Christian Papa, Director for Interior Design, HMKM Christian Papa is the Director for Interior Design at HMKM, an award winning and internationally acclaimed retail design consultancy based in London. Christian studied Interior Design at Kingston Polytechnic, followed by an MA in Architecture and Interiors at the Royal College of Art. He started his career at Branson Coates Architecture and David Davies Associates prior to joining HMKM in 1994. He became a Director in 2001 and is one of the four owners with Peter Moore, Colin Melia and Alison Cardy. A combining passion for design and travel has resulted in Christian completing many successful retail concepts ranging from boutiques to department stores in London, Paris, Berlin, Moscow, Rome, Sao Paulo, the Middle East, Seoul and Australia. Christian designed major projects for Selfridges, La Rinascente, Old Navy, Galeries Lafayette, Harvey Nichols, Sportsgirl, Sussan, Daslu and Hyundai. Christian and his team have recently created the new Tsvetnoy Department Store in Moscow, the store refurbishment for the iconic Swedish brand, Svenskt Tenn in Stockholm and the glamorous new Beauty & Fashion Jewellery Hall at Selfridges Manchester. He is currently working on the design for Galeries Lafayette's first store in Beijing, a new department design for Breuninger at their flagship store in Stuttgart, a new global retail expression for an Italian accessories brand as well as their continuing work on Selfridges Oxford Street. |

With recent flagship openings in Chicago, Melbourne and Las Vegas Guy is currently creating a new retail concept for Topshop to debut in Los Angeles early next year.

Peter Cross, Managing Partner, Yellowdoor Recognised as one of the UK's leading brand strategists, Peter Cross business partner of Mary Portas and Managing Partner of Yellowdoor, has made regular appearances on BBC breakfast and other shows and lectures regularly across the world on the subjects of retail, branding and consumer trends. Peter has worked in marketing communications for over 20 years, starting his career at Burberry Paris in the European buying team then moving back to London to spend 11 years at L'Oreal in a variety of local and international marketing positions. In 2000 Peter took up a position with the Richemont Group in charge of global communications for Alfred Dunhill before joining forces with Mary Portas at Yellowdoor as Managing Partner in 2004. Yellowdoor is now one of London's best established retail and brand communication agencies with clients ranging from Louis Vuitton to Westfield. |

Robert Hudson, Director, National Association of Shopfitters Robert Hudson has been in the Construction Industry for over 30 years and for the last fifteen years in the specific sector of Shopfitting and Interior Contracting. Robert joined the National Association of Shopfitters in 2005 as its Director. In 2007 Robert was one of the main drivers behind the setting up of the Shopfitting Independent Training Forum the corner stone of which was to provide a cradle to the grave concept in life long learning for this specialist sector. Since joining in 2005, Robert has developed NAS into an effective and recognised trade organisation working on behalf of Shopfitters and Interior Contractors. |
